Combat is very like PSO2 Meseta current combat system, down to the weapons, Photon Arts and Photon Blasts. It's only quicker, more portable and smoother. There are no longer Perfect Attacks; rather, it is more like contemporary action games with combos and counterattacks. Dodging and blocking is liquid for all classes also. Certain classes may see a difference in drama. There's no longer attacking from the air indefinitely, so expect to be on the floor more dodging and countering. Attacks and PAs are set up the same manner they are now with certain buttons performing specific strikes or the 1-2-3 system. As far as PB's go, because Mag's will not be part of gameplay anymore, they act more like Sophisticated Photon Arts, which were introduced in Japan's PSO2 with Episode 6. Rather than summoning a monster, PB's will instead be a massive attack coping serious damage that needs to be recharged through battle.
Of those three classes they showed, Force had a few of the greatest changes. They finally have a block much like Hunters in addition to their dodge, which is a much-needed addition as they can be delicate and slowed down by Technique charging. Techniques also have gotten better because they no longer must be billed to use. They finally have an uncharged strike which, while not as strong as the billed version, still does some good damage.
Another fantastic change is that healing items can be used on the fly. No more getting stuck in a drink cartoon hoping to heal only to be immediately smacked and lose it all without a thing you can do about it. Healing will occur instantaneously in NG while you do more important things, such as dodging. Overall, the battle is receiving a much-needed upgrade while still feeling perfectly comfortable.
In Episode 5, after the aid of these on Earth, players find a mysterious portal that results in another dimension, called"Omega." This world appears driven purely by fantasy, a world of magic and swords rather than science and technology. Both worlds are in direct contrast with each other, and as the story progresses, players will often go between them while watching the odd similarities these worlds share. Simultaneously, a mysterious girl who calls herself"Alma" appears, and she seems to have advice about Omega and--strangely--roughly ARKS.
Episode 5 brings a lot of new content and features including increasing the player level cap to 90, new ARKS missions and areas to explore, new enemy types, fresh quest types with fresh rewards, new seasonal events, fresh Alliance Quarters, and more. Photon Art and Strategy levels will increase, and further Photon Art, Techniques, and Fight Arena weapons will be added. The alterations to its MMO will be significant in bringing the sport to the contemporary age. The changes will assuredly also bring plenty of future enjoyment to fans. Sega's hour livestream during the Tokyo Game Show focused on the open-world map, the three new player classes, RPG elements, and more. There's a good deal of things in the full video, but we've gathered the highlights for buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta: New Genesis.
